PROJECT SPOTLIGHT – NORTH OIL COMPANY OFFSHORE WEB DECK PROJECT
Fast Access, in partnership with Altrad Qatar, supported NOC in delivering a WEB Deck™ suspended access platform for coating and insulation works on the underdeck of the Charlie platform cellar deck.
Project Stats:
- Deck Area: 420m² WEB Deck™
- Crew: 8 WEB Deck installers + 1 supervisor
- Installation Time: 8 shifts (vs 82 shifts for scaffold)
- Weight Savings: 8.5 tonnes (vs 70 tonnes scaffold)
- Contact Point Reduction: 983 to 120 (80% fewer)
- Time Savings: 90% faster than traditional scaffold
- Safety: Zero Lost Time Incidents
